Our Product and Engineering team held our annual Tech week last month and had a busy, and fun, time making a lot of positive changes to Goodlord's lettings platform. Here are just some of the things that they worked on, to give an idea of the type of innovations we make on a regular basis at Goodlord.
The whole team really pushed the boat out to get some updates up and running in a very short space of time in celebration of Tech week. We carefully selected the features that we'd work on in advance, based on two criteria:
On the platform page where agents can manage tenancies, we've now added a new "Agent notes'" feature, to help give extra visibility to our agents on each tenancy. They can edit and pin notes that all relevant staff at their agency can access - an easy way to highlight any key information that's needed to progress that tenancy and avoid miscommunication.
We've also changed up the layout on a couple of the main pages on the platform (our "Manage property" and "Manage tenancy" pages) pulling all the key information about the tenancy and property into summary boxes. We've also set up some new tabs, to make switching between views, and accessing all relevant information and documents a slick process.
In our referencing process, we've introduced an additional text box where tenants can add in any extra information they think is relevant to their application;,reducing the need for them to contact us and helping them speed through the process to get results back to agents more quickly.
These are a few incremental changes, but they all feed into our constant efforts to bring value to customers and create the best user and customer experience.
