Vouch and Goodlord integrate their technology to bring customers more flexibility and choice

7 July 2021

Referencing solutions provider Vouch and lettings platform Goodlord have fully integrated their technologies, bringing their customers more flexibility and giving them access to more lettings and referencing solutions than ever before.

Referencing solutions provider Vouch and lettings platform Goodlord have announced that their technology and services are now fully integrated, meaning customers of either platform can benefit from a pooled range of lettings software and services.

With both businesses offering complementary services to the sector, the integration has been designed to maximise choice for customers.

The integration means that users of the Goodlord platform can now benefit from Vouch's fixed-cost digital referencing solution - which starts from £5 per reference - saving agents time without the need for outsourcing. Vouch is now also able to provide Goodlord customers access to new commission-based revenue streams, such as their home move assistant; a portal designed to ease the transition of home services for tenants.

In turn, agents currently benefiting from Vouch’s digital referencing services can access the award-winning features Goodlord has built to save agents time, ensure they remain compliant, and enable them to offer additional services to landlords and tenants. Goodlord’s industry-first model brings together all of the core elements of the lettings process - from sending the offer letter and signing contracts, to move-in services and insurance provision - in one streamlined online platform.

This integration of services also means that Vouch customers are able to provide Goodlord's award-winning Rent Protection and Legal Expenses Insurance to their landlords.

Based in Sheffield, Vouch was founded in 2017 by Simon and Jaime Tillyer, former letting agents with over 15 years experience. Vouch joined the Goodlord family in July 2020, becoming part of the Goodlord group. The group aims to offer its combined 2,500+ clients throughout the UK a wider choice of software offerings and access to a sector-leading end-to-end platform, which this integration has now achieved.

Simon Tillyer, MD of Vouch says:

"Through ongoing discussions and feedback from our existing customers, we knew many wanted more than just a great referencing solution. This integration with the Goodlord platform allows agents to benefit from a completely streamlined lettings process and their award-winning Rent Protection Insurance. Joining the Goodlord Group has been highly beneficial to the Vouch team and our customers. We once considered building the additional services Goodlord offers into our offering at Vouch, but quickly realised that it's better to team up with the best instead of trying to compete against them."

William Reeve, CEO at Goodlord says:

"This integration was driven by the desire to offer agents more flexibility and choice when it comes to their referencing strategy. Vouch’s £5 offering is very popular, and now both Vouch and Goodlord customers can benefit from models such as this, alongside our tenancy and insurance services. It brings more options to the table, meaning agents can select the right combination of features for them and enables everyone to bring together the lowest prices with the best end-to-end experience. Bringing such choice and quality together via one integrated experience is the culmination of much planning and collaboration over recent years and we’re delighted that it’s now available to the UK lettings sector.”
