Goodlord has appointed property expert and entrepreneur Peter Knight to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Goodlord provides software and services for streamlining the residential lettings process.  Backed by leading technology investors GFC, Finch Capital and LocalGlobe, it is growing rapidly and now transacts more residential lettings than anybody else in the UK.

Peter Knight is the Founder of Property Academy, a leading source of information and events for the property industry, as well as the Founder of Estate Agency Events, who produce the EA Masters and the Best Estate Agent Guide. He was previously Group Managing Director of Jackson Property Services, before taking up the role of Managing Director of their London and South East division following its acquisition by Halifax.

Peter Knight commented:

“I’ve long been a fan of Goodlord. Unlike other players in the proptech space, it is building something that is solving real challenges faced by letting agents. I’m therefore delighted to be joining its Board and am looking forward to working closely with William and the rest of the team as Goodlord continues to grow.”

William Reeve, CEO of Goodlord, added:

“There are few people in the lettings industry who have as much expertise and experience as Peter. He has always been one step ahead when it comes to the evolution of the property sector and we’re excited to have his experience and insight on the Goodlord board.”

As an independent NED for Goodlord, Peter will work with the wider board to provide support, advice and an independent perspective to the executive team in the areas of innovation, governance, and commercial growth.

The news of Peter’s appointment follows 18 months of expansion for Goodlord, during which the business has launched a range of new products and seen significant growth in its client base.
