Goodlord analysed 150,000 tenancies processed through its platform between March 2018 and March 2019 and found a stark decline in the number of EU nationals moving to the UK.
Estate and letting agents must comply with consumer protection law when dealing with landlords and tenants, which includes disclosing all the fees they charge landlords, all the costs associated with letting a property for tenants, as well as any commissions from referrals.
Goodlord analysed 55,000 tenants who applied for a property through our platform and found that 20% cannot rent without a guarantor.
Tenants are making more enquiries online, outside of standard office hours, and agencies need to be able to respond and qualify them faster, says the founder of a virtual assistant for agents.

New research by Goodlord shows that people who rent in East Central London are unlikely to stay in the area for more than a year.
